Overview

Caroline Libby provides executives, entrepreneurs, and businesses, and with comprehensive counsel in all areas of employment law including matters of compensation, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, regulatory compliance, termination, severance, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and whistleblowing.  Caroline approaches employment issues from a legal, practical, and business perspective and is a fierce advocate for clients across a wide array of professional sectors, including financial services, tech/fintech, advertising/marketing, fashion/beauty, academia, law, and medicine/pharmaceuticals. Caroline frequently handles employments disputes in both federal and state courts and before regulatory and arbitral tribunals. In addition, Caroline uses her prior experience conducting transactional due diligence in successfully negotiating compensation and benefit packages for executives and entrepreneurs as part of acquisitions or sales of businesses. 

Caroline began her legal career as an employment associate at Proskauer Rose LLP. Caroline received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2020, and her B.S. from Colgate University, graduating summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors.
